The wonderful American writer Jack London (1876-1916) lived a hard life. In his school years, he sold morning and evening newspapers, worked on the weekend in Kegelban, at the age of 14 he entered the canning factory, then illegally caught oysters in the Bay of San Francisco, and then hired a sailor on a fishing schooner. The essay of Jack London "Typhoon off the coast of Japan", for which he received the first prize of one of the newspapers of San Francisco, was published in 1893 and served as the beginning of his literary career. Jack London became more seriously at the age of 23, after returning from Alaska. He gave all his strength to writing books and wrote for almost a whole day, leaving only a few hours to rest and sleep.
