Is it possible to do in everyday life without metals? Imagine that they suddenly disappeared - there are no cars, no trains, no machines, nor the most ordinary knife and screwdrivers! And if the metals would disappear completely, then our planet itself would not become: a void would have formed in the place of its iron core. The magnetic field that creates the core would also disappear, and there would be no one to protect us from cosmic radiation.
And a person without metals would not have lived for a second. Without calcium, the teeth and bones would scatter into powder, without iron, blood would stop spreading oxygen into the body, and without the magnesium of the plant, they would stop releasing this oxygen.
Of course, in a small book you can’t tell everything about metals and their features. But it is quite clear: a modern person cannot do without knowledge about metals!
For primary and secondary school age
