Mass measures

Workbook "Kumon. Masses "measures" will introduce the child to the concepts of "mass" and "units of dimension".
Using this manual, the child will master the concepts of "heavier", "easier" and "equal mass", learn to measure a mass of objects in kilograms and grams, and also repeat the oral account and writing numbers from 1 to 200.
Tasks in the notebooks are given by principle from simple to complex and there are three types:
What /who is heavier? In these exercises, the child should determine by the picture which object is harder, easier, and which objects have equal mass. To do this, he uses existing knowledge about the world and applies logical thinking.
Tasks for oral account and writing numbers. In them, the child will repeat the score up to 200 and will remember how these numbers are written.
Tasks for determining mass by weight. In them, the child repeatedly trains to determine the mass in kilograms and grams, which is shown by scales with a scale. This important skill will be indispensable in the future school.
How to do?
To complete the tasks, you will need a simple pencil.
Determine in advance how many pages a child will take place (for example, two or four) Do not forget that it is better to complete the work when he wants to work out a little more. Support your child in order so that he can easily cope with them.
In this book there is no section with answers. Please check the correctness of each task at once. This will help to notice mistakes in time and avoid fixing them.
Praise the child after performing each exercise. You can celebrate its success, for example, making a note on the page "well done" or gluing an incentive sticker.
Council: To consolidate the material, it is advisable to purchase scales. Encourage the child to measure the mass of surrounding objects, such as wax crayons or books. Invite him to lay out objects in order to increase the mass. This will help to develop and maintain interest in measurements, increase motivation, and also give experience that consolidates theoretical knowledge.
