The book continues a series of comics about the adventures of the brave cowboy Lucky Luke, always ready to help honest citizens in the fight against crime prosperous in the West West. Luke learns that his sworn enemies of the Dalton brothers have an old woman. A harmless look of an elderly lady turns out to be the leadership of the entire criminal family and gives Luke a lot of trouble.
Lucky Luke, along with Tintin and Asterix, is one of the three most famous characters in the Franco-Belgian children"s comics. The fearless lonely cowboy, who “shoots faster than his shadow,” was invented in 1946 by the artist Maurice de Bever, who worked under the pseudonym Morris. He created the first eight albums alone, and in 1955 the writer Rene Gosinni joined him as a screenwriter. The Road along the Prairia became their first joint work and laid the foundation for the so -called golden eyelid Lucky Luke, which has been extending for more than 20 years. Each history of this cycle is an exciting comedic western, in which real historical events associated with the development of the Wild West are reflected.
And by the way, in the mid-1980s, Maurice de Bever still forced his protagonist to quit smoking! Since then, instead of cigarettes, Lucky Luke began to keep a straw in his mouth, and for this the World Health Organization even handed the artist a medal
