Nikolai Gumilyov - one of the brightest lyrics in the constellation Talents of the Silver Age. He began as a singer of exotic and antiquities, a faithful student of the Symbolists.
Gumilyov’s poems were husbands with their author: African travels, personal dramas, military service, a dangerous and hungry life in the post -revolutionary Petrograd, notes of visionary wisdom and confessibility in his mature poetry. The book includes selected poems and small poems of Gumilyov from all copyright collections of 1905-1921.
The illustrations of Boris Pavlovich Zabirokhin complement and emphasize the clear, in places boyish, in places an exotic, but very masculine character of Gumilyov’s lyrics
