We present to readers a book of lyric poems of a wonderful Russian poet and playwright of the XX and the beginning of the 21st century, a recognized master of elegant literature and stage art - the successor of the traditions of Russian classical literature and the Byzantine Theater in the broadest sense of the word.
In the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow, a shield and a victory sword are established, on which the words are engraved in gold:
"Russians! We will not drop the honor
and we will close to the shoulder to the shoulder.

separately - just die! .. These words belong to Konstantin Skvortsov and, in fact, are the leitmotif of his work.
Dozens of songs were written on his poems that performed and perform the best voices of Russia: Lyudmila Zykina, Iosif Kobzon, Anna Litvinenko, Tatyana Petrova, Evgeny Polykanin, Maxim Troshin, Anatoly Dnieper, Vakhit Khzyrov, Natalya Mironova and many others
