The little Cedric Errol suddenly turns out to be the heir to the count"s title and a huge state. Together with his mother, he moves from the poor house in New York to the majestic castle of his ancestors in England. His grandfather, the imperious and arrogant Count of Dorincort, does not skimp on gifts, but Cedric notices not only the mountains of toys, but also the disasters of ordinary people living in the village outside the gates of the castle. It is difficult for a good boy to imagine that only his own whims and income worry his grandfather, that he is deaf to the sufferings of subordinates. But the fiery heart of the young Lord Fountleiro, an innate sense of justice, and most importantly, trust in people and faith in their best qualities are able to work miracles.
