Little Humpbacked Horse

Pyotr Pavlovich Ershov wrote “Humpbacked skate” at eighteen years old. Since childhood, he loved folk tales and dreamed of writing his own. The fairy tale in poetry about the skate “With two humps and with arshin ears” was highly appreciated by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin himself. And for almost two hundred years, the Horse Bobun remains one of the favorite fairy tales in children and adults. The tale of P.P. Ershov is included in the program of mandatory reading at school. In our edition, it is presented without abbreviations. Examinated words and expressions are given explanations.
