The literary heritage of Count Vasily Alekseevich Komarovsky (1881-1914), who lived in Tsarskoye Selo, is small in volume: the only collection of poems" First Pier "(1913), the novel Sabil, several posthumous publications in Apollo". Noticed and appreciated during the life of the author only a narrow circle of friends, Komarovsky’s poetry was awarded high assessments of Nikolai Gumilyov and Anna Akhmatova, Sergey Makovsky and Nikolai Punin, and after many decades became the subject of philological studies. For the first time collected in 1979, Komarovsky’s heritage was reprinted in Russia in 2000 and 2002.
In this publication, addressed to a wide range of literature lovers, all the famous arts of Komarovsky and the main reviews and memories of contemporaries about him are included.
