He is the author of more than a hundred books about South Australia, who, during his lifetime, became a classic of children"s literature. Colin Tile is signed by readers of the whole world (including Russia) based on the book "Stormik and Mr. Persival" about the friendship of a boy and pelican. Even the monument, erected in his hometown of the writer, depicts him along with the famous hero - Pelican Persian.
