Olga Fedorovna Bergholz (1910 - 1975) - writer, poet, journalist, playwright. During the Great Patriotic War, Olga Bergholz remained in the besieged Leningrad. Since August 1941, she worked on the radio, turning to the residents of the besieged city almost daily. Bergholtz ended each radio show with his verses. And her poems helped Leningraders survive in a frozen blockade city and not lose human dignity. The voice of Olga Bergholz was not in vain called a symbol of victory, and the poetess itself - the muse of the besieged Leningrad.
