Friends call Vladimir Teplyakov the Moscow Rigaine. The new book of the poet is divided into two relevant sections, which included poems of different years (many of them are in the new edition) Their division into Riga and Moscow, of course, is conditional: V. Teplyakov’s poems are not replete with toponyms, and indeed, their geographical component, as a rule, is small. But wherever Apollo nicked him - in Riga, Moscow or, say, on Solovki - the poet, by his own admission, is always preoccupied only with the author’s syllable (unlike the author himself) does not suffer over overweight. This is his fourth exit in open poetic cosmos
