Elena Ignatova is a poet, a prose writer. Born in Leningrad. Since 1975, she was constantly published in Samizdat and in the publications of Russian abroad. The author of six books of poems and two books of prose ("Notes about St. Petersburg" and "turning around") Poems were repeatedly translated, included in Russian and foreign anthologies of Russian poetry of the twentieth century
