When I think about the work of Anton Vasiliev, every time I recall the Nekrasov lines that have been sunk into the soul in school years from the classical poetic dialogue “Poet and Citizen”:

which the homeland is holy.
God help them! ..
We have been familiar with Anton Vasiliev since ancient years, when I happened to publish a poem by his father, Sergey Vasiliev, “my childhood pigeon” in the seventies of the last century in the Urals. At one time, A.M. Bitter.
Anton Sergeyevich in those years was a young screenwriter and director of documentaries. Whether poems wrote in those years, I do not know. If they were, he did not show them to anyone.
