Yakov Eseykin is the most closed figure in modern Russian literature. The name of the writer is shrouded in secret. It is known that after the Gothic and "Classic" collections were released in Samizdat, the Soviet pro -government literary elite enthusiastically greeted the young genius. Meanwhile, he always remained an idol of underground. Eseykina was considered the hope of domestic elegant literature. But the official writer "Night Singer" never became. Despite the efforts, including the relevant secretaries of the USSR joint venture, not a single work in the Soviet Union was published. The reformer of language and poetics introduced the genre definition of Gothic poetry into Russian literature and was outside the system. Collections continued to go out in Samizdat. At the turn of the millennia, fragments from the main book of the poet-mystic “Cosmopolis Archaic” published Russian almanacs, this caused a wave of delighted responses in the press. Eseykin agreed to several interviews. And again disappeared. Over the years, Cosmopolis Archaic has gained the unspoken status of the last great Russian -speaking book. Its aesthetic sound, external gloom claims to the reference compliance with the canons of the chosen genre. The complex sublimated letter of Esepepkin (deliberately archaic thesaurus, lexical innovations, severe stanza texture) has always been associated with exquisite fiction, emblem symbols of intellectual literature. This publication can be considered the first approximation to the work of a cult author
