Vadim Korostylev (1923–1997) - writer, poet, playwright, screenwriter, author of the famous lines “And a smile, without doubt, will suddenly touch your eyes ...” From the film “Carnival Night”. It was he who came up with a fairy tale about Vovka from a distant kingdom and wrote a script for the cartoon of the same name, and also became the author of scripts for children"s Soviet films “Aibolit-66”, “The King of the Role”, “The Secret of the Snow Queen”, “Honest Magic”. The book included two fairy tales of the writer: “King of the Pif-Paf, or a fairy tale about Ivan-no-giant” and “Nadia and others doll”. Vadim Korostylev is the King of the Kalamburov, on which his fairy tales are built, so his works are so fervent and funny. They will reveal an unprecedented fairy -tale world to the reader and show that courage, kindness and dedication always defeat anger and cunning. Illustrations by A. Shevchenko.
