Jeremy James is not one of those who are looking for troubles, and in the fact that a ghost flew into the bedroom, and the pirates buried the treasures too deep, there is no guilt. Only the injustice of life - when, for example, the spoiled Timothy receives all the prizes, and Santa Claus is not the one for whom he gives himself - they make him act decisively.
David Henry Wilson shows the ridiculous side of the life of a little boy (not to mention his parents), and the soft humor of the illustrator Axel Sheffler ("Gruffalo", "Snail and Keith") perfectly complements the author’s good irony.
This is a wonderful family reading, one of those books that you want to leave at home for the next listeners and readers. "
