Ivan Aksenov (1884–1935) - one of the bright figures of the Russian avant -garde. A subtle critic, erudite, translator, he is the author of the world"s first monograph about Picasso (1917), a number of studies about the Shakespeare Theater, Meyerhold"s ally, teacher Eisenstein (and his first biographer) At the same time, Aksenov was a playwright, a prose writer, and a poet: his poem is impressive with his originality, although his contemporaries paid little attention to him, while he headed the union of poets for about two years. After the book of poems, “Disrespecting foundations” (1916), published under the brand of the futuristic “centrifuge”, he managed to publish only a few separate poems. The manuscript of the second book of poems “Eiffeliy” (1916–1918), containing a 30 eifelo tower, remained in the archives for nearly a hundred years. The project of the third book of verses “Oda and Dancing” (early 1920s) was not implemented. This publication is the first scientific publication of Aksenov’s poetry. All texts are accompanied by a detailed comment. At the same time, a number of texts and documents are first introduced into circulation, and the rarest edition of the Oda Vyborg district (1920), designed by the artist George Cocketing and preserved in the family archive, is reproduced by a fabor. The visual series has 100 rare illustrations, including from the collection of Kostaka (Museum of Modern Art in Thessaloniki) and private archives
