Pat Ingoldzby, a man with a biography, which would be enough for the three, the great Dublin poet-lyricist and surrealist of the twentieth century, playwright, in the past-a star of Irish television, a favorite of children. Pat wrote poetry all his life, but in the mid-1990s he finally quit “going to work” and devoted himself to poetry entirely, and prefers to be published on his own. Until recently, he himself sold them on the streets of Dublin. So he became a real city attraction for both Dublin and guests of the Irish capital. In Russian in 2020, the Publishing House of Dodo Press published his poetic collection “The Beauty of the Smart Eyes” (1999), and at Livibuk, the Pata’s journalism (in the early 1990s, he led a column in Dublinskaya “Ivoning press) Ingoldzby instantly arose a small but enthusiastic army of Russian -speaking fans. The collection “They will say this in Dublin” (2022) covers for almost half a century, these texts have been extracted from all his books, as well as from an unrelated material written since 2013: about then Pat stopped selling his poems on the streets. This book is a cut of life and work of a unique creator and a wonderful person
