Ideals and palliative in Russian tradition and culture

The monograph affects the problems of the ideal and the forms close to it (palliative), which were reflected in different aspects of the life of the Russians, in relation to wealth, in the culture of understanding sin and punishment for sin, in the usually legal practice of observing honor in the peasant environment, in the creation of the Institute of Crowning orphans, in the tradition of religious practice.
