Kim Eon was born in Busan in 1973. He graduated from the faculty of industrial engineering and the faculty of Korean language and literature at the Pusan National University. He graduated from the doctoral studies in literary skills at the University of Meoji. In 1998, he printed his first collection of poems “Poems and Thoughts”. Kim Eon published six collections of poems, a book of prose and a collection on the theory of versification. He is a laureate of three prestigious literary awards of Korea.
