The enchanting charm of the Russian romance leaves no one indifferent: the romance does not know age -related borders, he survived the centuries and is not outdated. His formation in Russia coincided with the golden age of Russian poetry - with the Pushkin era, and the heyday came at the end of the 19th - beginning of the twentieth century. Poems of Pushkin, Delvig, Lermontov, Fet, Tyutchev, A.K. Tolstoy, Apukhtin, Blok, Tsvetaeva, shifted to music, gained a different sound - exciting, confessional. Masive composers (A. A. Alyabyev, M. I. Glinka, P. I. Tchaikovsky, A. G. Rubinstein, G. V. Sviridov), and amateur musicians also turned to the romance genre. The authorship of some popular romances is already impossible today. But, having survived their creators, the best examples of this genre continue to touch the listeners - sincere, beauty, a delightful combination of music and words.
