I am myself!

"I am myself!" - A book of verses by Mikhail Yasnut with an author’s selection and division inside. The book is built on the age principle (as the poet himself said, "on the age staircase"): in the beginning - poems for children of three years old, at the end - for schoolchildren. Before each stage, the poet wrote an introductory word - for his parents.
But still, the most important thing in the book is not a technique, but the verses themselves. This is the very wonderful world where the piglet can hatch from an egg, where you can become a mermaid from resentment, where you certainly need to congratulate the puddle on the day of birth, drive off the cannibal and save the hippo from boredom.
Poems are organically woven into the illustrations of the artist Irina Gavrilova: the texts live on the walls of houses and among the streets, scattered around charming characters and recorded in painted books.
