Did Oscar Wilde write a lot or little for his short and tragic life? A collection of poetry, one novel, less than a dozen plays, even fewer poems, several stories and stories, cycles of articles and poems in prose ... Wilde was an amazing interlocutor. He generously endowed others with amazing stories, not bothering them not only to publish, but even write them down. However, nine fairy tales that he told his sons were still published. Six of them are presented in this book. In Russia, children recognized Wilde"s tales thanks to the translations of the great fan of the talent of the writer and connoisseur of his work Mikhail Likiardopulo. And perhaps, if Oscar Wilde did not write anything else, two books of his fairy tales ("Happy Prince" and "Pomegranate House") would be quite enough for the name of the English writer to enter the Golden Fund of Literature
