Nick Sharratt is rightfully considered one of the most successful contemporary artists. He managed to illustrate more than 250 books: from stories for children to teenage novels. He worked with authors such as Julia Donaldson, Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Rosen. And yet Nick himself wrote about 40 books. He was an official illustrator of World War II in 2006, received a scholarship of the Khereford art college and the gold sign of the BBC Children"s Television Programme.
