The gospel is the most important book for every Christian. The Gospel tells how God - Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus Christ to earth in order to save all people from evil and death and teach them not to commit bad deeds. The Son of God lived among the common people. He worked miracles and many good deeds, healed the sick and taught adults and children to obey God in everything. But evil people grabbed Jesus Christ and executed Him, crucified on the cross. However, Christ resurrected and showed that all hardships and even death can be defeated, according to God.
The life of the Lord Jesus Christ is a joyful news of our salvation from evil. And the word "gospel" in Greek means "good, joyful news."
