New illustrations of famous books are a great opportunity to see heroes and events in a new light. We are used to seeing the protagonist of the wonderful fairy tale of A. N. Tolstoy “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Pinocchio” with a cheerful, mocking and slightly hooligan wooden boy. But the Moscow artist Anna Vlasova opened the features of his character that were not seen before - kindness, curiosity, trusting. The rest of the characters are no less expressive: Pierrot hides a brave heart behind a sad mask, a slightly long Malvina looks like an older sister, Karabas-Barabas is really angry and coastal, and Duremar is a real “ugly suck”.
The new edition of a well -known fairy tale will not only read, but also look: classic text and modern illustrations are so harmoniously combined in it. And thanks to solid binding, thick paper and a font convenient for reading, the book will last a long time and, perhaps, will become a source of new discoveries for the next generation of readers
