Jorge Luis Borges is one of the most famous writers of the twentieth century, which largely determined the appearance of modern literature. World fame came to him after the publication of artistic prose, amazing stories, erasing the line between fiction and truth, history and imagination, literary text and the universe surrounding us. However, the language for Borges was “a way to order a mysterious abundance of the world”, and it is not surprising that poetry, in his opinion, should have been best to cope with this task. As the author wrote, all poetry is a mystery, and no one knows for sure what to write to him. Although what did he call poetry, and what - prose? In the case of the Great Borges, this line is very blurry. The present unique publication is the first in Russia a complete collection of “poetic” works by Jorge Luis Borges, composed by the author in the declining years. It included thirteen collections, the first of which was published by Borges at twenty-four at his own expense 300 copies (“Buenos Aires Heat”), and the latter-a year before death (“bail”) Many texts are published in Russian for the first time
