Igor Seversin (Igor Vasilievich Lotarev, 1887-1941) was born in St. Petersburg. In 1911, he organized the literary group "Association of Egofuturists". The program of eg -futurists, formulated by Seversyanin, provided for the search for a new one without rejecting the old, bold images, epithets, assonations and dissonances, meaningful neologisms, etc.
