The poetry of urban life is special. She has her own secrets, her riddles. It’s easy to plunge into an unknown - just leave the familiar entrance, street, quarter. Go on a trip, which habitually ends at a neighboring stop, or can lead to a completely different, sometimes unexpected result ...
And, finally, the phenomenon of the poet himself: "I’m coming from the bus from the tape of years, / Out of time remaining for a short time ..." The lyrical hero of Ksenia Lesnevskaya is in constant search, acutely, figuratively, but by no means tragic and tram (and even with good humor) represents its own "I" in a big city, "between the Khrushchev and the devastation", where, however, the angel rides an electric train / standing in the crown of the corner.
Poems by K. Lesnevskaya leave an amazingly bright feeling. In them, not only the involvement of urban life in all its manifestations, but also the rich world of emotions, the change of seasons, the rhythms of history. The city also lives in unison with poems, then moving, then freezing. "As if I am in a hurry to eternity, / but only tomorrow I will only reach ..."
