The joint work of the poet Igor Irteniev and the artist Andrei Biljo is already the second in their publishing portfolio. The first, the Empire of Good, published in 1994, instantly became a bibliographic rarity. In addition to thirty years of friendship and ten years of cooperation in the magazine “Zhvanetsky’s store” (Irteniev was its editor -in -chief, and Bilzho - the main artist) of the authors unites the ironic, albeit their own, a look at the world that finally broke from all conceivable brakes. The fact that Petrovich is a long -standing and constant hero of the artist, and Petrov, absolutely independently of this, only recently imperiously penetrated the poet’s brain bark is an undoubted sign of fate. A grotesque, black humor, charming idiocy in combination with absurdity - all of the above, we hope, will cause a keen interest among readers and at the same time spectators. The authors admit that the novel by Alexei Salnikov “Petrova in the flu and around him” was a powerful impulse for their imagination
