Valentin Grigoryevich Rasputin (1937-2015)-Russian writer, publicist, public figure.
After graduating from elementary school in his native village of Atalanki Irkutsk Region, the future writer was forced to move to the district center of Ust-Jada in order to continue his studies in secondary school .
