Valentin Grigoryevich Rasputin (1937-2015)-Russian writer, publicist, public figure.
After graduating from elementary school in his native village of Atalanki Irkutsk Region, the future writer was forced to move to the district center of Ust-Jada in order to continue his studies in secondary school . It was a difficult period for a little boy: the life of strangers, half -starved existence, the inability to dress and eat, as it should be, quarrels with a local child.
