The book "Fox-Flaps" included Chuvash tales translated and processed by the famous Russian writer Semyon Shurtakov. In living images and vivid paintings, they bring to children the most important human values, and even the smallest, the most incomprehensible easily assimilates that doing good is a worthy and commendable thing, and doing evil is low and contemptuous.
Through the fairy-tale images of Chuvash, they talked about their life, about joys and sorrows, about daily labors and concerns, about love for work, for nature, for the earth-nurse. And also about the ability to see beauty - in bright costumes and embroideries, toys, songs and fairy tales.
Tales are taught ... However, the most important value and charm of folk tales is that in the literal sense of the word they just do not teach, do not teach. “I don’t teach - I tell,” one sage said. So no one teaches anyone in fairy tales, no one tells anyone: to be kind and brave - good, and evil and cowardly - bad.
“In a fairy tale, it is simply and fascinatingly told either about some village, or about the thirtieth kingdom-state, but from the story itself, from everything that comes with the heroes, from their actions and deeds, the listener, even the smallest of the smallest , the most unintentional, easily assimilates that doing good is a worthy and commendable thing, and doing evil is low and contempt. Tales give each of us in the very early childhood the first lessons of humanity: they all the course of the events unfolding in them, with all their meaning, imperceptibly for ourselves inspire us:
Be patient and persistent in achieving the goal,
Be honest and generous,
Take someone else"s grief close to heart, like yours, and if you get into trouble, die yourself, but help out a comrade ...
A fairy tale - the cherished word of the people, preserved for centuries and bequeathed to the descendants.
