Two stories included in the Fox Gaspar collection. Once a fox with a sonorous name Gaspar goes to get dinner for himself, trying, as usual, not to catch people. On the way, he meets the scientist Kot Milord, who advises him to go to the promenade. There Gaspar meets a small but fearless Dog Finty. She shows him where delicious sausages are found, and then helps to get out of the channel, where he fell, screaming from the owner of the cafe. Having said goodbye to Finti, Gaspar sneaks along the dark streets and sees how one immature person with good eyes and red hair accidentally drops a bag of food from his hands. So literally in one evening the life of a single fox is changing coolly: for the first time in his life he tries a real fish and acquires two friends at once! In the second story, Gaspar decides to introduce Gradi to Finti and finds her at the dog’s exhibition. Suddenly for himself, the fox becomes a member of the masquerade. Yes, not just a participant, but the winner of the dog show! Despite the fact that soon everyone understands who is actually hiding under the mask of a musketeer, Gaspar receives his well -deserved reward. And this also happens thanks to friends! The author of the book, the famous British radio host Zeb Sones is convinced: real friendship does not know the barriers and no matter who you are - a cat, a fox or a dog - with everyone and you can always find a common language, you just want to. His main character has a prototype. One evening, not far from his house, he met a fox: his paw was damaged. The zeb began to feed him, and they became friends. Zeb believes that Gaspar (as he called his red -haired friend) and really the most characteristic fox in London. Illustrations for a series of books about foxes in the city were drawn by artist James Meiheu - specially for this, he made orange paint, calling it "red gaspara".
