Nicky finally was able to prove that his friends Mia and Aaron Petersons were gone. The whole city is glued with announcements of the search for children, and the police are investigating. But Nicky cannot stay away, because someone gives a signal for help from the window of Aaron, a rattle from the basement is heard at night, and Mr. Peterson behaves even more frightening than usual. Friends and parents advise Nicky to wait for an official investigation, and he has to act alone. Nicky penetrates the house of Mr. Peterson and finds old video cassettes.
