Alexey Nikolaevich Tolstoy from an early youth began to collect folk tales, legends, and stories. He was attracted by the beauty of folklore, the wisdom and ingenuity of the people, which found expression, including in a fabulous form. Alexey Nikolaevich recorded and creatively processed many fairy tales, preserving bright stories and flavor of folk speech. We know many fairy tales and love it precisely in its processing.
The gift collection, published in the publishing house "Nigma", included the most famous and favorite fairy tales since childhood. Among them are “Fox and Hare”, "Wolf and Kitty", "Havroshechka", "Geese-Swans", "Sivka-Burka" ...
The book was illustrated by the talented artist Yana Sedova. The Publishing House of “Nigma "has already been published by Alexei Tolstoy"s Tolstoy"s Rusalochny Tales and" Forty Tales" with its design. These publications were awarded by diplomas of the All -Russian contest "image of the book" in 2016 and 2017 in the nomination "Best Illustrations for works for children and adolescents."
Yana Sedova - graduate of MGHPA named after S. G. Stroganova, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, actively cooperates with Russian and foreign publishers.
