Both of them are trying to survive in London of the late 19th century - a boy, which is full here, and the wolf, the only one in the United Kingdom. Both checked in their own skin what it is like to be necessary only when you bring income.
Thirteen -year -old Madlark Clay - a tramp, looking for at least something valuable along the banks of the Thames that will bring her water. He and his friends are called a terrible gang from the Blackfraiyers bridge. The honorary name and the bread place had to be conquered in fights: the fists are sometimes better than words.
Fog is a dangerous predator, set in a cage for a funny fun. Acquaintance with the back of the wandering circus will make Clai reconsider his views: you won’t get anything with violence. And the main character is ready to prove this to both his gang and the whole London - even if the whole world is taking up against him.
The Italian writer Marta Palaceszzi creates a real anthem of freedom, stubbornness and humanity. Her heroes bribe their extreme sincerity and willingness to fully fight for what they consider important, no matter what difficulty this battle is given.
