The coach is not breathing either. He does not even hear music. Irina had other wards: she was a talented coach, even raised the Olympic champion. But Anyuta is still special: whatever the stability, she has a real gift, which does not harm life difficulties. And they, these difficulties, have plenty of both heroines. And they cope in different ways, each time making a difficult choice. Sometimes this is a choice between life and love.
The story "Free exercises" is a dialogue between a coach and an athlete. An adult, whose life is given to a sports career, and a teenager, for whom the issue of the price of this career is not so clear. Women who have made many mistakes, and a girl who doubts that she got on the right path. The book is built: the reader sees the world of sports gymnastics alternately through the eyes of a young athlete and the eyes of an experienced coach.
But the heroes live not only in the gymnastic hall. The outside world in all its complexity and ambiguity also arises before the reader. No wonder this story was awarded the prize "Trendy Dream" as a "best work about the modern life of children and adolescents, about their relations with the world of adults"! Since the journal publication in 2007, the story of the St. Petersburg writer Tatyana Sergeyeva is not outdated at all, and even more - healed her life: high school students devote works to her, and adult readers are discussing today in social networks.
