This story happened in the German Snight of the 16th century. Young Landsknecht Ruprecht meets an unusual girl Renata. He learns that the lovely person is obsessed with darkness and a frantic desire to find the blond Count Henry von Potterheim. Wanting to help Renate, Ruprecht in love with her agrees to go together in search of the one whom the girl calls the fiery angel. The secrets of ancient manuscripts and occult treatises, night flights and chilling rituals, meeting with Faust and Mephistopheles will be in their way. Where will Ruprecht will ultimately bring the road of good intentions? To the monastery of the Savior or in the lair?
