"Fatherland" is a novel in poetry, on which the poet worked for more than ten years. The work is dedicated to the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia (1992-1993) for freedom and independence. The narrative comes on behalf of the author, which reveals the panorama of a bloody war, its chronicle and the fate of people. The novel "Fatherland", at the basis of its own, is of an autobiographical nature, it organically combines the lyrical and epic principles. In modern Abkhaz literature, the novel has become a phenomenon. It reflects the best features of the Abkhazian ethnic group: freedom, optimism and faith in the future
