There are places on Earth where fairy tales come to life. It’s not easy to get there, but possible. Chukotka is one of these points on the map.
This story could not have happened, but the dad-organ was sent for work for Chukotka, and the whole family went with him. The heroes have to visit the city of Anadyr and find out everything about the mysterious "Calais", get with a red captain in a storm, see a real whale and make sure that the mosquito people live almost the same as people.
The collection consists of Chukchi and Eskimos fairy tales found in the archives of the Anadyr Museum, read out in the adaptive translations of the Eskimo epic and told by real chachis - deer people living in Chukotka. Many fairy tales are printed for the first time, the rest are almost not known to the reader.
The publication has QR codes by which you can listen to the audio versions of some fairy tales in Russian, Chukotsk and Eskimo
