Ivan Andreevich Krylov (1769-1844)-Russian poet-boss, translator, Academic member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences. Born in the family of a retired officer. In connection with numerous crossings, he attended little educational institutions, learned literacy at home, later, thanks to the natural tendency to read, languages and sciences and self -discipline, he became one of the most enlightened people of his time. In 1789, the satirical magazine "Post of Spirits" began to print, since 1792 the magazine "Spectator". As a fabulist I.A. Krylov declared himself in 1805, translating two Lafontaine fables into Russian. Soon his own works appeared: "lesson to the daughters", "lazy", etc. - a poetic or prosaic literary work of a satirical nature, containing morality - a brief moralizing conclusion. In the fable in allegorical form, vices of people are ridiculed. This is one of the oldest literary genres, the first fabulist is considered Aesop, who lived in the VI century BC. E..I.A. Krylov was a famous fabric of domestic literature, in his entire life he wrote more than 200 fables, the most famous of them "swan. Pike and cancer "," Dragonfly and Ant "," Quartet "," Crow and Fox ". The author, as if in passing, makes fun of human shortcomings with witty hints: pride, selfishness, vanity, stupidity. Many lines of the fables I.A.
