This publication is an introductory course of the training complex "English for medical schools". The aim of this course is to the formation and development of basic skills of reading and translating the popular science text, as well as the skills of oral communication when discussing topics associated with the future profession of students. The methodological construction of a book and a system of tasks are aimed at teaching the search, extraction, processing and use of professionally significant information.
