The purpose of the textbook is to teach the technical translation and the formation of independent work skills with scientific and technical literature in English. Its peculiarity is the uniqueness of the methodology used. The manual is built on the principle of "from the simplest gradually to a more complex." In each subsequent lesson, only the grammar and the vocabulary that were studied in previous lessons are found. At the same time, the vocabulary of the current lesson is easily absorbed, since each new word is found in the lesson at least 5-6 times. The vocabulary is expanding intensively even due to the use of consonant words. All this, in turn, leads to a more conscious performance of tasks and ultimately removes the psychological barrier before the language being studied.
The manual includes all the necessary information on the grammar of the English language, which are reduced to the tables for convenience. Exercises help to consolidate the theoretical knowledge, and the keys to the exercises - to check how well this knowledge is learned. The topic of lessons covers issues of various fields of scientific and technical knowledge. Particular attention is paid to environmental and environmental protection issues.
