Clarity, accuracy, laconicism, rejection of stylistic jewelry - features that, of course, distinguish Pushkin’s prose, at the same time, so rich semantic potential is hidden behind the outward simplicity that literary critics have not tired of solving Pushkin’s masterpieces for almost two centuries. He turned to prose, which he had previously called “despicable”, he turned only in the late 1820s, already gaining fame and recognition as a poet. This appeal turned out to be exclusively fruitful - diverse in thematic and genre relations, rich in narrative techniques. “Are there any Russian novels? .. They came, father, please came,” the author’s irony clearly sounds in the words of the old countess from the “peak lady”. Pushkin’s experiments in prose outlined new ways for the development of domestic literature. The real edition included the novel “Dubrovsky” (1832–1833), the novel “Peak Lady” (1833) and “Egyptian Nights” (1835)
