Dubrovsky is a small masterpiece of Pushkin"s prose. The plot of this small work is based on a romantic story about a noble robber, impoverished nobleman Vladimir Dubrovsky. Having lost his home, Dubrovsky challenges the Almighty Barina Troekurov and takes revenge on him for the death of his father and the insult.
The novel during Pushkin’s life remained unfinished, and the name “Dubrovsky” was given by publishers during his first publication in Pushkin’s works in 1841
