The story “down the magic river” is not very simple. City boy Mitya is a pioneer. And of course, he does not believe in all kinds of fairy tales about Baba Yaga, Koshchei and the snake of Gorynych. On the instructions of his grandmother, he goes to her relative to the old woman Egorovna, to help with the housework. And now Mitya is in the thirtieth kingdom, and Egorovna is not at all Egorov, but Baba Yaga. On this fabulously funny adventure ends and the harsh everyday life in the struggle for a just cause begins, because in fairy tales to defend freedom and justice as difficult as in real life.
