The spelling of double consonants is one of the most difficult topics in the Russian language in elementary school. Difficulties are explained by the fact that double consonants are fundamentally found in the root of the word, at the junction of the prefix and root, root and suffix, as well as in suffixes, therefore they obey different rules. Most words with double consonants are fundamentally borrowing from other languages, such words need to be either memorized or checked in the spelling dictionary. The tasks proposed in this manual are aimed at the formation of spelling vigilance in children and to memorize words with double consonants in the root. The game form of tasks facilitates the process of memorization and makes it as fascinating and unobtrusive as possible
