"Diary" - the second collection of the poet Yuri Haifets (the first, "Loner", was published in ArsisBooks in 2019) The book is based on an unusual idea: one poem for every day of the year. In reality, these are verses of different years, so the collection covers an almost forty -year period of creativity. But the reader can open a book at any day or month of this diary, so that, together with the author, a page by page, live a "poetic year".
Yuri Haifets - poet, bard, doctor in the first specialty. Born in 1953 in Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg) In the late 80s and early 90s, he was known under the pseudonym Boris Berg as a chansonnier and the author of the texts of popular songs.
His poems are a lyrical monologue about life, its unexpected turns, about the era in which I happened to live, about God, about love and freedom, about conscience and dishonor.
